The lowest of all traits is to ridicule others. Mocking, making fun of others is the cheapest thing one can do. Not only does this lower the self esteem of the ridiculed but also can put the person into trauma. Mocking someone might give the mocker few seconds of fun, but it can jeopardize the self confidence of the one mocked, forever.

Instances of mocking which I have seen made me write this article. Students mock a teacher behind her back. Teachers do so to their co teachers. Family members do it to someone in the family. Friends make fun of one or more people in a group. It is sad that the mockers do so without realising their sin and get away with it. Apparently they develop expertise in carrying out this disgusting act. In the long run, they distance themselves from their most valuable virtue, conscience.
In fact
they eliminate and erase conscience from their lives so that they can lead a guilt free life. But little do they know that what goes around, comes back too. Our actions are like boomerang. If I ridicule someone today, I too will face a similar situation some or the other point inthe journey of my life. Only thing is I should be wise enough to accept the returns gracefully.
These returns are inevitable like the ones we get by investing money. Only thing is we don’t get updates in the form of texts of such returns. But they do arrive. Unfortunately sometimes its too late to regret the deeds of the past.
Making fun
not only of humans but also of other living things is equally an unforgivable offence. Speechless creatures do not understand but God does. So next time you make fun of someone, be assured that the ridiculed might forgive, but Universe won’t. Famous actress Katrina Kaif Kaushal follows a simple rule, ‘If you cannot say something nice, do not say anything at all’. I think we all should follow the same.
