Hello friends. After a very long time I am here with my new recipe simple bhindi (okra) masala. I don’t like bhindi much as its sticky. Still the added masala can make it tasty and easier to eat. Straight away here is the recipe which I am sure you all will love.
Ingredients :
250 Gm Bhindi
2 Medium Onions
2 Medium Tomatoes
5 Cloves Garlic
¾ Inch Ginger
1 Tbsp Cumin+Coriander Powder
1 Tbsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder (For Nice Red Colour)
2 Tsp Chilli Powder
½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
Salt As Needed
Oil As Needed
Lemon (Optional)
Method :
Cut onions and tomatoes into pieces. First put oil in kadai and shallow fry them. Second add garlic and ginger. Fry the pieces till light brown. Now remove on a plate and allow to cool down.
Put these pieces in a mixer and make a paste. Now make two to three pieces of each bhindi. Take the same kadai which we used above. Add some oil and shallow fry bhindi.
Take one more kadai. Next add some oil. After oil is heated, add mustard seeds(optional).
Add the onion paste, spices and salt. Mix well. If you like a tangy taste, add juice of half lemon.
Add the bhindi pieces and mix. After 5 minutes sprinkle kasuri methi. Cook for two minutes more. Delicious super simple bhindi (okra) masala is ready to eat.
