I have seen humans walking past a hungry dog without a trace of concern on their face. Why such a cold attitude? Humans have a blessing to think and act. Buy a container and a pack of milk or biscuits and feed the dog.
( Though the natural foods for dogs is meat ) . These things are available in our surroundings, most of the time. If you are sure to come across one, carry it with you.
I am saying this by experience. Once on my way back to home after work I saw a hungry dog. Inspite of the minimal number of stray dogs around us, its sad that they go to sleep without food, many times. I went to a shop nearby, purchased a pack of milk. I carry small bags in my purse so that I can feed animals with water or food if needed. So I took out the bag and gave some milk to him. He drank it at once. Feeding him brought a smile on my face after the long tiring work hours. The joy I got was eternal.
Its an easy task, isn’t it? It takes less than a minute to feed a soul. So why not do it next time you see one.
When I say hunger, its a natural trait of all animals. So do feed a hungry animal next time you see one. Let me clarify here. There are some humans who keep animals tied. For example in India, a cow is tied to a pole so that humans feed her. Sorry to say its not at all due to love for the cows, but merely to earn some merits in their ‘karma’ humans do so. Instead of feeding a tied cow, try to free her from the clutches of those evil people, if you know the means to do so.
When we are blessed with the privelege of eating what we want, when we want, let us make a hungry voiceless animal happy by feeding him, next time we come across one. Hunger is a feeling which drives a living soul crazy and helpless. read the last sentence again. As our stomach need tasty, healthy foods so also do the other living things.
