Hello friends, hope you have tried the recipes I share here. If you want to quickly diminish your hunger, this recipe of 5 flour nutritious mathri will definitely satisfy your hunger along with maintaining the health factor quiet well. Here we go.
Ingredients :
1 1/2 Cup Maida (All purpose flour)
1/2 Cup Oats Flour
1/4 Cup Jowar Flour
1/2 Cup Bajra Flour
1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
1Tbsp Black Pepper Powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Ajwain Powder
One Tbsp Cumin Seeds Powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Kasuri Methi (Dried And Powdered Fenugreek Leaves)
1 Tsp Asafoetida
4 Tbsp Oil + Enough Oil For Frying
1 or ½ Tbsp Red Chilli Powder (Depends On How Much Spicy You Need)
1 1/2 Tsp Salt Or As Required
Water As Required
Method :
First take all the flours in a large bowl and mix well. Add salt along with all the spices. Mix very well. Heat 4 tablespoons oil and add it to the flour mix. Combine all the ingredients with hand. Put enough water to bind the dough. Make it hard enough for crisp mathris.
Now, cover the bowl with a lid and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Divide the kneaded flour into equal parts and make small balls. Now take one and keep the rest covered inside the bowl with a lid.
Roll it out evenly into a thin layer. Now pierce the layer with a fork so that the mathris don’t get puffed while frying. Cut the layer into pieces with knife or shankarpali cutter.
Meanwhile
heat oil in a kadai. After the oil is hot, keep the flame low.
Fry the mathris till they get golden colour. Don’t keep them for long as overfrying will make its taste bitter. Remove them on a tissue paper so that excess oil is absorbed.
Let the mathris cool down. Then store them in an air tight glass container. They stay good till 15 days.
Enjoy this tasty recipe of 5 flour nutritious mathri.
