A balanced, shy and disciplined student of mine, Tejal Patel. As I was her class teacher, we did share a close acquaintance for quite long.
As teachers, we meet so many students in our career span. Some have such deep rooted feelings for us, that too even after leaving school. I am obliged that such students exist in my life. A student teacher bond is the purest other than those we have with our family members. Being an introvert, Tejal did not talk much. But she was always punctual and obedient.
I never knew
the regard and respect she has for me till I met her as an ex student. Then one day she came to my school to meet me. Only then I knew, what I meant to her. She remembered so many moments we spent together in the school. She told my being firm in front of my students, helped them later in shaping their lives. I was touched by the values her parents instilled in her, which taught her to respect and remember her teachers. To acknowledge what they have done for us.
I remember her as a balanced, shy and disciplined student. But, if I want to tell you all what Tejal does now, the list is endless.
