A mother of a cute child now, Upashna has made a place in my heart, forever. I taught her when she was in Grade 6. She started liking me as her teacher, and I too was fond of her as she was very humble and honest. She was not very expressive, but her gestures and smile spoke a lot.
I came to know what she feels for me, when she started giving me Greeting Cards. They were not mere cards, but more than that. Each card was different from other. But the wordings in them touched my heart every time I received one.
She used to
talk about my qualities in her cards. How I take care of all, how I show no discrepancy when handling students. She had decorated each with designs, drawings. They had feelings and emotions, more than what a heart can hold.
The special part of our relationship began, when she became an ex student. We were in touch after she left the school also. Eventually I discovered her respect and trust in me. We shared our ideas and view points and continued to be in touch.
The reason why I want to bow down to her is, whenever I was in a situation of crisis, or was sad, she used to get an intuition. I dont know how, but she did. In my gloomy moments, her message used to pop up on my cell phone, enquiring about how I am. I used to wonder, how one can be connected to a teacher to such extent. And I used to share my fear or worry with her, and no need to say she always encouraged and helped me to come out of such situations.
I still remember the night
when there was a small issue I was facing, and had cried a lot. She came to know as usual. It was around 10 pm. After realising my condition, she just dropped in with her fiance to my home. Not only that, but she brought a cake for me, as I was upset. We talked out, and I felt very light and relaxed.
Till date, this practice continues. She asks me, ‘Are you fine?’
And no matter what the situation, I smile.
That is the power of this incredible lady, Upashna Arora.
Now, Mrs. Upashna Gaurav Goswami, and a mother of a cute child, she has a successful career in Fashion Designing. May God always bless her and bring success to her in all that she does or aspires to.
