#8 Shaurya And Mehek’s Kitchen Scene
I have been very specific in writing the scene’s description, because I doubt if there was any other scene with such intensity. I mean not only in this serial, but also on Indian Television to be precise.
The scene
portrays a conversation between Shaurya and Mehek, when she comes to his house to pacify him. Shaurya Khanna, who turns mild by the mere presence of Mehek Sharma. She is preparing a drink of milk with turmeric for Shaurya’s granny. He chats with her when her work is in progress. She unknowingly manages to arouse him and he never misses the opportunity.
When she taunts him about how husbands behave typically after marriage, he gets an opportunity to go near her. She tries to avoid him and he accidentally burns his finger. Mehek opens fridge and applies ice on his wound. He traps this opportunity and opens the world of passion for Mehek.
The scene is for around 2 minutes, but the intensity and fire it has is everlasting. Every time I see this scene, I get the same heat and passion conveyed by the superb actors, Karan Vohra and Samiksha Jaiswal.
The famous song,
Be Intehaa from the film Race 2 is played in the background when he teases, excites her and awakens the passionate side of her. Its just incredible. Having seen so many serials and movies, I have to agree its really a sensuously picturised scene.
He takes the ice cubes from Mehek’s hands and what happens next cannot be expressed in words. Its worth watching how beautifully, aesthetically this scene is shown on the screen.
I wish the scene was shown for atleast 5 minutes. But such breath taking moments are to be preserved, and cannot be experienced for long.
